Leif Leather Dog Harness Armor
The Leif Leather Dog Harness Armor is not a costume. It is a piece of leatherwork, built by hand for the companion who joins you on every adventure.
Each harness begins with premium vegetable-tanned leather, selected for its strength, character, and ability to age beautifully over time. Every piece is individually cut, shaped, finished, and assembled by hand in our workshop. We use traditional saddle stitching, solid brass or silver hardware, and reinforced rivets at key stress points to create a harness made for years of wear.
Because we work with genuine leather, no two harnesses will ever be exactly alike. Natural grain, subtle variations in color, and markings from the hide give each piece its own character. With use, the leather will soften and develop a patina unique to your dog and the adventures you share.
Comfort matters just as much as appearance. The Leif is built around a functional, adjustable harness with your choice of soft suede or breathable mesh lining. Multiple adjustment points help you achieve a secure, comfortable fit without sacrificing the layered armor design.
Most importantly, we make these ourselves.
Your harness is not pulled from a warehouse shelf or mass-produced on an assembly line. Each one is made to order by hand. That takes more time, but it allows us to pay attention to the details that make quality leatherwork last.

Over time, your harness will soften, darken, and develop the marks of use that make a well-loved piece of leatherwork unmistakably yours. Properly cared for, it is designed to accompany your dog through conventions, festivals, photoshoots, walks, and plenty of adventures in between.
We stand behind our craftsmanship. If your harness arrives with a manufacturing defect, contact us within 14 days of delivery and we will work with you to make it right.
Each harness is handmade to order. Please allow approximately 4 to 5 weeks for us to craft your piece before shipping.

Our harnesses are hand made from premium vegetable-tanned leather, one of the most durable materials in the world, used for centuries precisely because it holds up. Every seam is saddle-stitched, the oldest and strongest stitch in leatherwork. If one thread breaks, the other holds. Solid brass or silver hardware completes a piece that's made to be worn hard, aged well, and passed down.

Made from vegetable-tanned leather with solid hardware, hand saddle-stitched, and set with double cap rivets. Leather thickness varies by hide. Natural scars and grain marks are characteristic of genuine full-grain leather and are not considered defects.

Shipping
Domestic orders ship free. International orders are welcome. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. We are not responsible for customs fees, import duties, or delays caused by international carriers or customs processing. These vary by country and are the responsibility of the buyer.
Processing Time
Each harness is made to order by hand. Please allow 4-5 weeks for production before your order ships. Custom orders may require additional time. We'll communicate any delays directly.
Returns & Defects
We stand behind our work. If your harness arrives with a manufacturing defect, contact us within 14 days of delivery and we'll make it right- repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion. Returns are not accepted for normal wear, damage caused by misuse, improper fit due to incorrect measurements provided at ordering, or change of mind. Because every piece is made to order, we cannot accept returns for non-defective items.

We build to the measurements you provide. Please measure carefully before ordering. We include a sizing guide with every listing. We're happy to help if you're unsure.
- Lost or Damaged Shipments
If your order arrives damaged in transit, save all packaging and contact us immediately. We'll work with you to resolve it. We are not responsible for orders lost due to incorrect shipping addresses provided at checkout.
