Dagmar Armor: Handcrafted Leather Cat Harness
Every piece we make starts as a single hide, chosen and cut by hand before a single tool touches it. Dagmar is an old Scandinavian name meaning "glory of the day," and each panel is engraved with Celtic knotwork, then hand-stitched into the final piece.
We build these the way saddlers and armorers built things before machines took over: full-grain leather, careful tooling, and stitching meant to outlast the cat wearing it. This isn't a costume piece. It's built to be worn on real walks, in real weather, for years.
The details
Full-grain leather panels, engraved with Celtic knotwork and hand-stitched at every seam. Solid brass hardware, including a secure D-ring for leash attachment. Adjustable at the neck and chest for a fit that holds through a full walk, not just a photo. Choose a suede lining for a soft, quiet feel against the coat, or a spacer mesh lining for breathability on warmer days.

Small: Neck 11–14", Chest 15–18"
Medium: Neck 13–15", Chest 17–20"

A note on timing
Because each harness is cut, engraved, and stitched to order, please allow 4–6 weeks. We'd rather take the time and get it right than rush something meant to last a decade.

Forged to last
Our harnesses are hand made from premium vegetable-tanned leather, one of the most durable materials in the world, used for centuries precisely because it holds up. Every seam is saddle-stitched, the oldest and strongest stitch in leatherwork. If one thread breaks, the other holds. Solid brass or silver hardware completes a piece that's made to be worn hard, aged well, and passed down.

Made from vegetable-tanned leather with solid hardware, hand saddle-stitched, and set with double cap rivets. Leather thickness varies by hide. Natural scars and grain marks are characteristic of genuine full-grain leather and are not considered defects.

Shipping
Domestic orders ship free. International orders are welcome. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. We are not responsible for customs fees, import duties, or delays caused by international carriers or customs processing. These vary by country and are the responsibility of the buyer.
Processing Time
Each harness is made to order by hand. Please allow 4-5 weeks for production before your order ships. Custom orders may require additional time. We'll communicate any delays directly.
Returns & Defects
We stand behind our work. If your harness arrives with a manufacturing defect, contact us within 14 days of delivery and we'll make it right- repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion. Returns are not accepted for normal wear, damage caused by misuse, improper fit due to incorrect measurements provided at ordering, or change of mind. Because every piece is made to order, we cannot accept returns for non-defective items.

We build to the measurements you provide. Please measure carefully before ordering. We include a sizing guide with every listing. We're happy to help if you're unsure.
- Lost or Damaged Shipments
If your order arrives damaged in transit, save all packaging and contact us immediately. We'll work with you to resolve it. We are not responsible for orders lost due to incorrect shipping addresses provided at checkout.
